Arsonists set fire to car in supermarket car park - Grantham
April 21, 2008 – 5:56 amMonday, noon - ARSONISTS set fire to a car in Morrison’s car park in Grantham last night.
Staff called the emergency services at around 10.50pm after a silver Nissan Micra was set on fire.
Police said witnesses saw two people at the scene throwing something on to the fire before heading off towards the town centre.
The witnesses could not give a description of the people at the scene and no images of what happened were captured on CCTV.
The fire was extinguished and police cordoned off the vehicle before the scene could be cleared.
