BOND CRASHES HIS ASTON MARTIN DBS
April 21, 2008 – 5:42 amA stunt driver shooting a car chase scene for the upcoming James Bond flick, Quantum of Solace, lost control of an Aston Martin DBS and plunged it into the Lake Garda in Italy. Although the Aston has been totalled, the stunt driver received minor injuries and was released from hospital after all the check ups.
The film’s executive producer, Anthony Waye, said the scene was being shot in pouring rain when the stunt driver lost control and plunged the car into the river.
The film’s budget along with the car have surely taken a hit.
